Curriculum Vitae

Anna Lasut joined the Risk, Policy and Vulnerability Program in 2007.

Dr. Lasut received her master’s degree in finance management and her PhD in economics, both from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. She studied management in Germany at the TU Clausthal and developed her PhD research in some part as a Marie Curie Research Fellow in FEEM, Italy. She conducted research on benefits and costs of flood insurance solutions. Dr. Lasut also lectures at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

Her current research interests are economics related to water, risk management, scenario development, and analysis using qualitative and quantitative modeling.
