POP Publications - General Information

The link "All Publications" at the main menu (left bar) lists all the publication of the current calendar year and is updated regularly. This page includes the link to the publications of previous calendar years of books, book chapters, reports, journal articles, and IIASA publications. This list goes back to the year 1994 and is provided in PDF format.

The next link provides a record on "Books" published by the World Population Program researchers back to the year 1989.

Additionally, the highlights of Nature and Science articles are put together on a special page. A few of them can either be ordered at IIASA or accessed at the journal's website.

At "POPNET" you can view and download the Population Newsletters (edited by Wolfgang Lutz) in PDF format back to the year 1997.

"Software & CD-ROMs" lists available free software and CD-ROMs that the POP project developed and published.

The results of IIASAs research are documented in a wide range of publications, from peer-reviewed journals to commercially published books to IIASA Research Reports. Search IIASAs publications catalog, which contains a complete list of IIASA publications from 1973 to the present. Besides conducting high-quality and timely research, IIASA aims to disseminate its research as widely as possible. Therefore, since 1996 all IIASA reports have been freely available online and can be found in the publications catalog. To search the publications of the World Population Program (POP) and of the previous Human Settlement and Services Program (HSS, 1973-1983), you have just to choose the research program, and if desired the publication years.
