Run the PDE Models: Download & Installation of Vensim® Model Reader

Version 1.0, Feb. 2001

Vensim® Model Reader

The Model Reader is an application that allows read-only access to models created with Vensim® PLE Plus, Standard, Professional, and DSS. The IIASA PDE Models were programmed in Vensim® DSS32, Version 4.0b. The Vensim® Model Reader allows users to simulate and analyze the models without using Vensim® itself. The Model Reader contains a Game interface to allow models with games to simulate properly.

"The Vensim® Model Reader is a free software which allows you to publish models constructed with Vensim® and distribute them to other people. Your model and the Vensim® model reader can be copied and passed to as many people as you want, giving people access to your model without their needing to purchase Vensim®". Quoted from the Ventana® web site.

The Vensim® Model Reader is attached below. Therefore, you do not have to enter the Ventana® web site (in the US) to download the Program (click here for web sites in France, Germany, Korea, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom).
