  • This POPIN-Africa Web site, http://www.un.org/Depts/eca/divis/fssd/popin/, has been developed for the African Development Forum (Addis Ababa, 1999). The partners in this initiative are the global POPIN, the FSSD-Division of the ECA and UNFPA. It is a first attempt to present a collection of population information resources on the Web produced in and by African institutions.
