Detailed presentations on population, development,
and environment interactions were given. We discussed initial attempts
at demographic and water models and received feedback from an international
group of researchers and policy makers. This was particularly important
meeting because it gave new directions to our demographic modeling.
Presentation of Preliminary Results

- Namibia, August 1997
We presented preliminary demographic results and conferred with
policy makers about their desired goals for the research project.
