The authors describe possible future development paths in
the context of the HIV/AIDS pandemic for each of the case
study countries.
: The research team developed
complex national and case study simulation models for all
three case study countries. The models consist of the following
sectoral models, which are linked: population, HIV/AIDS, and
education; economy (national economy and labor force models);
and environment (water demand and supply). Short, easy-to-understand
descriptions of the models are provided.
