The Demography of Growing European Identity

Despite the current problems with European integration, younger Europeans tend to have a European identity in addition to their national one. So concluded IIASA demographers Wolfgang Lutz (also of the Austrian Academy of Sciences) and Vegard Skirbekk together with Sylvia Kritzinger of the Institute of Advanced Studies after studying Eurobarometer data.
