Erling Häggström Lundevaller joined IIASA's World Population Program in February 2008 as a postdoctoral fellow funded by the Swedish Kempe Foundations.
He received his bachelor of social sciences degree in economics in 1993 and his PhD in statistics in 2002. Since then he has been working in research, consulting, and teaching at the Department of Statistics and the Department of Social and Economic Geography at Umea University, Sweden.
His current research is focused on micro-simulation of demographic development and multilevel models in this context.
