Part 2

Part 2 provides detailed background information on GAEZ, it presents the methodological details and contains results and downloadable images and spreadsheets as follows:

  • Results and crop productivity assessments and applications;
  • Data including downloadable spreadsheets and images.

How to Proceed

It is recommended that after the user is acquainted with the menu system and coloring scheme, (described above) to first view the presentation, and then proceed browsing through the methodology, results, and the appendixes. The user can then view selected results in the form of plates (maps) and animations, and finally if interested, the user may choose to download the various available data sets.

Data Available of this Website/CD-ROM

The data presented on this WebSite/CD-ROM may be downloaded in the form of either zip files, (each of which would contain all of the needed data components) and as MS-Excel 95 spreadsheets. The behavior of the browser in this respect, varies from one installation to another.

Technical Help    

Although the preferred resolution is at least 768x1024, the animations, plates and tables will try to rescale, if a lower resolution is used.

These pages are only supported by MS-Explorer 5+       and     Netscape 4.5+     browsers.
