Under the f3 (fossil free fuel) project, a detailed BeWhere model applied for Sweden will be developped. It will include actual woody based industries, heat demand, and the possibility to invest in second generation biofuel at a new production plant or as an extra commodity at a pulp and paper mill or CHP plant.

The Pashmina project (PAradigm SHifts Modelling and INovative Approach) will make a first development of tools with enhanced capabilities to take into account the interaction between the economy and the environment, paradigm shifts in the energy-transport-environment nexus and the land use and territorial functions.

Energeo aims to provide a versatile modelling platform that will enable planners, environmentalists, and governments to calculate, forecast and monitor the environmental impacts of changes in the energy mix on local, regional and global scales.

The BioSpaceOpt (Regional integrative assessment of bioenergy utilisation paths based on spatial aspects - development of a model framework and a case study) project focuses on developing a model framework for the estimation of the amount of crops and forestry wood needed to meet the energy and food demand in the region of Sauwald, Austria.
