The conference consisted of 17 invited talks of approximately 40 minutes each. Additionally, there were 16 contributed talks and two poster sessions. |

| Summary: |
FroSpects organized a large international conference that provided a broad overview of contemporary speciation research. The conference served as an inroad into the field of speciation research for young researchers, and enabled senior researchers to make connections outside their immediate area of work. A major focus of the conference was to facilitate bridge-building between disparate approaches to speciation research. We have therefore promoted lectures surveying fields of contemporary speciation research and encouraged contributions and discussion sessions of an integrative nature. |
